Anchor Introduces New Power Saving Ceiling Fans

Edited October 12th, 2018

Taking cognizance of the fact that consumers are increasingly becoming conscious of power consumption and opting for energy efficient products, Anchor by Panasonic has introduced a smart range of BLDC Motor Power Saving fans that encompass innovation in all of its features.

The new range of fans use a BLDC Motor, the brushless DC motor operates without slip losses, with a claimed  60 percent less power consumption while maintaining the constant speed (RPM) at 140V, even in case of voltage fluctuations. Which along with high power consumption are a constant distress to Indian homes and commercial office spaces resulting in inflation struck electricity bills and suffocating spaces with no air circulation.

Additonally, the company also claims that the range of IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) fans is temperature sensitive,  helping it provide  cool air. Certified with a 5-star (BEE) rating by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, BLDC fans are proven to be one of the lowest power consuming range in the IAQ fan category.

Product Features:

  • High-Speed motor for better Air delivery: Innovative designing safeguards the motor from voltage fluctuations for better air delivery with a wider coverage area of rooms, thereby rotating  faster even at lower voltages for smooth airflow.
  • Advance design to suit your interiors: Unique & Stylish cover design including wooden finish / metallic finish to match interiors and wide blade design for more air thrust.
  • Low Power Consumption: Power consumption of only 30W, even at maximum speed and providing air delivery of 230 CMM.
  • Safety wire for Fan fall prevention: Safety wire is provided as a standard option in all Panasonic fans. This helps to secure the fan motor to the ceiling hook, thereby preventing the motor from falling because of any reason.
  • Remote Control Operation: Easy to use and convenient remote control operation with sleep mode 2-4-8hr, and auto off function.
  • Whisper Quiet operations: High-quality pre-greased double ball bearing for high speed and noiseless operation.

The model comes in three colour variants and is priced at a)Silver Colour: Rs 5,800. b)Marble Gold : Rs 7,300  c) Walnut Gold : Rs 7,300. And are now available offline in trade network across all main cities as the company plans to start online sales very soon.

Last month, Anchor launched its new LED Lamps which employed an in-built Lithium Ion battery, capable of powering the lamp for nearly two hours without any external source of energy.

Besides, Anchor has also stepped into the renewable business, after signing an agreement with Spanish firm Mecasolar to manufacture and distribute its PV tracking systems in India.
