Why you can’t miss “India Bio Energy & Tech Expo-2024,” New Delhi

An exhilarating festival of biofuels is set to unfold at Yashobhoomi Dwarka, New Delhi, from September 2-4, 2024. The Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE) is orchestrating this grand Trade Show and Conference in partnership with a range of key ministries, including the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Ministry of New and Renewable Energies, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, and Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, among others.

This event will see significant participation from major oil marketing companies such as Indian Oil, GAIL, Hindustan Petroleum, and Bharat Petroleum, alongside their subsidiaries. The India Bioenergy Tech Expo 2024 promises a comprehensive showcase from both renewable and bioenergy sectors. Notably, the private sector is also deeply engaged, with prominent players like Indian Oil Adani Ventures and various City Gas Distribution companies contributing to the event’s vibrancy.

Based on the official event website https://ibetexpo.com, The India Bio Energy & Tech Expo, organized jointly by the Indian Federation of Green Energy and MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications. This pivotal event will spotlight advancements in bioenergy and related technologies, reflecting the sector’s growing role in addressing environmental challenges.

The Expo will cover a range of bioenergy solutions, including Compressed Biogas (CBG), biomass pellets and briquettes, ethanol, biodiesel, waste-to-energy technologies, and bio-mobility. As the demand for bioenergy rises, driven by India’s ambitious target of achieving net-zero emissions by 2070, this event will highlight how bioenergy can contribute significantly to this goal.

Which major companies are expected?

In addition to oil marketing and gas distribution companies, the India Bio Energy & Tech Expo will feature a diverse range of participants from the bioenergy sector. This includes designers, consultants, engineering contractors, technology providers, machinery suppliers, and service providers, all coming together under one roof. The participation spans the full spectrum of bioenergy, showcasing a comprehensive array of solutions and innovations.

Praj Industries, Reliance Energy, Biofuel Circles, Mahindra, Hycons Bioenergy and many more prominent companies are deploying their key personnel to exchange knowledge and trade.

With an expected foot fall of over 15,000 people over 3 days, the future course and serious commitment from the government and the private sector in unison is visible with this event.

What is the schedule?

The event will be inaugurated by Shri. Nitin Gadkari, Hon. Minister for Road Transport and Highways, who himself happens to be an ardent promoter of green energy, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas. They are expected to be accompanied by the Secretarial participation along with the Mr. Y. B. Ramakrishna, the Chairman of IFGE CBG Forum and other dignitaries.

The energy entrepreneurs will be present and interacting with the enthusiastic visitors through out these three days. As a parallel event, the Day-1 will see significant in-depth conference events with participation from Dr. Sangita M. Kasture, MNRE, Atul Kharate – IndianOil Adani Ventures, Ashish Kumar, VERBIO India, Shri K. S. Ngangbam, Director Swatch Bharat Mission, Subodh Kumar former Executive Director of Indian Oil, Rajesh K Mediratta of IGX, Srikant Nagulapalli, Ministry of Power & the list goes on.

The Day-2 is followed by the conference with an expected participation from Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, Hon’ble Minister of Power & Housing and Urban Affairs, Ms. Vini Mahajan – Ministry of Jal Shakti, Ms. Roopa Mishra- Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Anand Kumar Jha – Ministry of Petroleum, Kapil Kumar Jain – GAIL, Shashi Hegde – Hycons Bioenergy. The Day-3 is expected to see Shri Pralhad Joshi, Hon’ble Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Smt.
