TKIL Industries ropes in KIS Group to forays into CBG
TKIL Industries would be employing by-products such as sugar plant residues, distillery waste, and other forms of biomass to produce green gas.
TKIL Industries has partnered with global biogas conglomerate KIS Group to advance the production of compressed biogas (CBG) to expand into the Bio-Chemicals sector marking its business diversification quest. TKIL Industries was previously known as Thyssenkrupp Industries India.
By leveraging KIS Group owned cutting-edge CBG technology, TKIL Industries plans to enhance biogas production. This will be done using by-products such as sugar plant residues, distillery waste, and other forms of biomass. The company wants to lay strong foundation for a robust Bio-Chemicals portfolio.
The initiative aligns with India’s environmental targets, including a 50% reduction in carbon emissions and achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030.
