Rajputana Biodiesel secures new BPCL order for biodiesel supply
In total, Rajputana Biodiesel Limited and its subsidiary have secured LOIs to supply an aggregate of 3,543 KL of biodiesel, valued at about Rs 30 crore.
Jaipur headquartered bioenergy player Rajputana Biodiesel Ltd has announced that its subsidiary, Nirvaanraj Energy Private Ltd, has received Letters of Intent (LOIs) from central PSU Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) for the supply of biodiesel.
This follows a tender issued by India’s major Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) — Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), and BPCL — on March 13, 2025. The tender calls for a total biodiesel supply of 200,000 kilolitres (KL) during the April to July 2025 period.
Under the said agreement, Nirvaanraj Energy will supply 39 KL of biodiesel to BPCL. Rajputana Biodiesel has said that the estimated contract value of the new order is about Rs 33 lakhs.
In total, Rajputana Biodiesel Limited and its subsidiary have secured LOIs to supply an aggregate of 3,543 KL of biodiesel, valued at approximately Rs 30 crore. Deliveries are scheduled for completion between April and July 2025. The company also held that the LOIs for the remaining bid volumes are expected to be issued soon.
Incorporated in November 2016, Rajputana Biodiesel manufactures and supplies biodiesel along with by-products such as glycerine and fatty acids. Its production facility, spanning 4,000 square meters, is located in the RIICO Industrial Area in the Phulera of Rajasthan. The company operates the manufacturing facility with a production capacity of 24 kiloliters per day (KLPD), producing bio-fuels. Rajputana Biodiesel was listed on the stock exchange in December 2024.
