Prayagraj bio-CNG project will also produce 200-mt FOM & 30-mt briquettes: EverEnviro

The new bio-CNG plant has been operationalised ahead of the Mahakumbh which is the largest human conglomeration on Earth.

As the Prayagraj RNG Pvt. Ltd. facility, which is the first bio-CNG project in the state of Uttar Pradesh has been inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, developer EverEnviro Resource Management Pvt. Ltd has revealed that apart from the biogas, the project will also produce Fermented Organic Manure (FOM) and briquettes.

The new bio-CNG plant has been operationalised ahead of the Mahakumbh which is the largest human conglomeration on Earth.

EverEnviro said that its facility is spread over an area of 12.5 acres in Naini and the bio-CNG project will transform waste into valuable resources. There will be a daily output of 21.5 metric tonnes of bio-CNG in the plant. Besides, EverEnviro held, the project will also generate 200 metric tonnes of Fermented Organic Manure (FOM) and 30 metric tonnes of briquettes, bolstering the green energy generation efforts.

“The Hon’ble CM reviewed the construction progress of the state’s largest bio-CNG facility, being developed by EverEnviro Resource Management Pvt. Ltd., and expressed satisfaction with the advancements. During this significant visit, our MD and CEO, Mahesh Girdhar and Chief Project and Operations Officer, KA Chowdary briefed the Hon’ble CM on the facility’s contributions to cleaner energy and waste management solutions,” said the company.

With regards to Uttar Pradesh, EverEnviro has successfully commenced the production and dispatch of Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) from two of its plants that have respective capacities of 10 TPD each in the districts of Balrampur and Lakhimpur Khiri. The company also signed agreement with Lucknow Municipal Corporation in March last year to develop a bio-CNG plant in the state capital to process solid waste and produce 12 metric tons of gas daily, enough to power 300 buses each day.
