Hydrogen Europe, GH2 India agree at EUH2Week to collaborate for clean hydrogen
The two entities have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to innovation and cooperation in hydrogen between the two regions.
In a key development, Hydrogen Europe and the Green Hydrogen Association (GH2 India) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing in the domain of green hydrogen. The agreement was signed at the European Hydrogen Week where India is participating as the exclusive partner country.
This agreement aims to advance the hydrogen sector in Europe and India, fostering innovation and cooperation between the two regions.
The partnership between Hydrogen Europe and GH2 India focuses on developing joint initiatives that benefit both regions and contribute to the global hydrogen sector. By facilitating regular exchanges of best practices and promoting sustainable development, the collaboration seeks to create a favourable framework for scaling up the clean hydrogen supply chain across Europe and India.
This agreement highlights the shared commitment of Hydrogen Europe and GH2 India to advancing industry standards and building a sustainable hydrogen economy. It also reflects the dedication of both regions to a global clean energy transition. As one of the EU’s strategic partners, India aligns with Europe’s goals of effective multilateralism and sustainable development, reinforcing their mutual pursuit of a resilient and innovative hydrogen ecosystem.

India already has strong partnership with regards to green hydrogen with European countries like Germany, Italy, the Netherlands etc.
