Tata Transformation Prize that Awards INR 2 Cr to Indian Scientists Extends Deadline

* The Tata Transformation Prize recognizes and awards innovative technologies that address India’s greatest challenges in the three categories of food security, sustainability, and healthcare. Each winner in the category will be awarded INR 2 crores (approximately US$240,000) and a lifetime membership to the New York Academy of Sciences. The application deadline for this prize has been extended to March 29, giving applicants an additional week to apply.

In partnership with Tata Sons, the New York Academy of Sciences recently hosted a LIVE Q+A session to support those interested in learning more about the Tata Transformation Prize. The session included Amanda Sadacca, PhD, Vice President of Awards at the New York Academy of Sciences as well as Senior Program Manager, Stephen Albright, PhD.
